Happy Hour Celebrates Somebody's Basement!
Popular industry event celebrates launch producers of web distribution channel Somebody's Basement.
Hollywood, CA, April 6, 2010—The recently revived Hollywood Happy Hour (HHH) event series is back for a Spring Fling. Cricket Feet, Inc., and The Basham Company are again collaborating to celebrate the launch producers of Somebody's Basement, a soon-to-premiere web distribution channel. The schmoozefest will bring together hundreds of professionals from every aspect of the entertainment industry for socializing, snacks, and sips. The HHH Spring Fling will begin at 6pm on Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at restaurant/bar Life on Wilshire, in the heart of Los Angeles at Wilshire Boulevard and Crescent Heights Boulevard. The party will continue until the staff of Life sends everyone packing! "We're so freakin' excited to celebrate the launch producers of Somebody's Basement at our HHH Spring Fling," said Bonnie Gillespie, Hollywood Happy Hour co-founder, Somebody's Basement exec producer, and owner of Cricket Feet, Inc. "We've been overcome with excitement for the development of Somebody's Basement and I can't think of a more festive place to celebrate our launch producers than Life on Wilshire," said Ryan Basham, producer and CEO of The Basham Company and development producer for Somebody's Basement. HHH guests will enjoy happy hour-priced drinks all evening, including $20 margarita pitchers, $25 mojito pitchers, and $2 off all regularly-priced drinks. The kitchen will also be open all night, with loads of HHH-priced specials. Preregistration assures that you'll be hooked up with discounts all night long at Life. Hollywood Happy Hour has been hosting industry mixers, panels, and meet-and-greets since 2003. The event series was co-founded by Bonnie Gillespie, international celebrity reporter Nelson Aspen, and television host/spokesperson Kristyn Burtt. Just a few of the previous guests of HHH have been executive producer Greer Shephard; casting directors Michael Donovan, Mary-Rachel Foot, Michelle Metzner, Francine Selkirk, and Luke Yankee; agents Stella Archer and Janet Tscha; actors Stephon Fuller, Fred Goss, James Hong, Cindy Margolis, Bob Oschack, Melissa Paull, Blake Robbins, Julie Stevens, Jason Stuart, and Kaya Wittenberg; entertainment reporters Ken Baker, Thom DeLorenzo, Louise Pennell, and Craig Tomashoff; filmmakers JD DiSalvitore, Greg Swartz, and Daniel Waters; celebrity jewelry designer Jonathan Arndt; color expert Jill Kirsh; industry entrepreneur Gary Marsh; and celebrity hairstylist José Eber. Space at Life on Wilshire is limited, and a PayPal payment of $5 per person is required to secure a spot on the priority guest list. Payments at the door will be limited availability and $10 cash only. Guests can RSVP and secure a discounted spot at www.hollywoodhappyhour.com/payment.html. (Download this press release as PDF.)
